Scientific translations cover very specialised areas of  science, normally presented in articles, papers, reports, studies, etc. They require translators with a great deal of experience specialising in the specific subject matter, who are able to put across very specific, precise notions from the source to the target language in order to achieve the desired outcome, while bearing in mind that both the creator of the original text and the users of that text are familiar with the specific terminology and have at their disposal a large quantity of reference matter on the topic in question.
